Craft Shows

Last weekend I participated in a Craft Show in Asbury IA. with my sister-in-law Tara who is a consultant for 31 Gifts.

(By the way, I have a disorder/disease whatever you want to call it … I can’t get enough of 31 bags & organizational items!

It so motivates me to organize! Doesn’t help my budget so much however!!!!)

Check out her website here!

I’ve done craft shows before and always have fun interacting and mingling with customers and other vendors. This show I didn’t have a voice. At all! Thank God my sister drove all the way down (2hrs) to help me out. She quickly became my translator. Image may be NSFW.

Thanks Cass! That then turned into us cracking each other up with my scratchy voice that was forcing me to yell only to produce a whisper of a sound… It was comical. A few times I texted my sister-in-law Tara in order to tell her what I was trying to yell 5 feet away at her booth!

Below are a few pics of my booth. Don’t worry, tutorials to follow on a few of these items! Image may be NSFW.

We had so much fun together so it gave me an idea!

As if I don’t have enough going on with having sold our house and needing to be out by December 1st – I have decided to host a Craft/Vendor show as part of Stockton’s Annual Christmas Walk.

December 1st, 2012 10 AM – 5PM

I’m so pumped to host & organize my 1st show!  I plan to keep you all in the loop and in on the details of the planning as well as the event. From advertising, booking, contracts, act.

How many of you participate in craft shows?

What features do you LOVE or HATE about shows you have attended?
